The films are hosted on Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., United States). When you open the site the Vimeo player loads: it receives your IP address and browser data and may set its own cookies, including analytics cookies used to count views.

To understand which works people care about most, the site has its own analytics, hosted on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., United States). It counts, anonymously, visits, which projects are viewed and for how long, which films are opened and how much of them is watched, clicked links, the site you came from, your device and browser type and your approximate city.

To count how many different people visit the site, your browser keeps an anonymous code generated at random in its storage: it contains no personal data, is used only for these statistics and is never used on other sites or shared. If your browser does not keep it (for example in private browsing), the code is computed from part of your IP address, browser data and a secret key that changes every month.

Your IP address is not stored: Cloudflare uses it only to derive the approximate location and, in the case above, the code. Neither code can be traced back to you. The totals are copied into the controller's private archive.

The site sets no cookies of its own. The analytics keep only the anonymous code described above in your browser's storage, used solely for aggregate statistics about this site: it is not used to profile you or to follow you across other sites. You can delete it in your browser settings, under website data.

The only cookies are Vimeo's, described above. You can block or delete them in your browser settings: the videos keep working.

If you write to me, I use your address and message only to reply, keep them for as long as our conversation needs, and never share them. Email is handled by Gmail (Google).

GitHub, Vimeo, Google and Cloudflare are based in the United States. Data is transferred under the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses, as described in their policies.
